Terrorism is Stupid..

Let me begin by saying violence is never the right answer against a government. We have moved into a world where violence has become all too common and we have become de-sensitized to it. Over the past week the taliban attacked a mosque in Pakistan during friday prayer in an effort to undermine the government and also to try to pull people on their side. That doesn’t work. Violence is not appropriate action to undermine a government.

Terrorism is the worst kind of violence because you never get what you want, rather people turn away from you. Terrorism is also dumb because terrorists kill innocent people. In Islam that is not allowed. In Islam, if you kill someone it is as if you have killed all of mankind, if you save someone it is as if you have saved all of mankind. Terrorism kills us all a little bit and kills innocent people.

Terrorism and violence is not the answer and is just plain dumb..

What do you guys think?

That’s it for now, more soon..

Nice article bro! Here’s my two cents…violence and terrorism aren’t necessarily one and the same in that terrorism is just a particularly ugly, unjustifable form of political violence. While I agree with you that terrorism is NEVER justified under any circumstances, I don’t think a pacifist approach is always pragmatic-sometimes violence in the form of self defense is simply a legitimate necessity. For example, the early Muslims tried passive resistance for decades before they were finally given the right to defend themselves against the subjugation of their tormentors…yes they used violence, but nobody would deny that it was justified. I believe there are some struggles and causes (esp. where genocide is involved) where violence in the form of self defense may not only be inevitable, but a necessity.
