Why Does the World Hate me?
We all think like this from time to time but often times we don’t step back and reflect what we actually have. We live in the richest country in the world, though we complain about it; we live in a great country where opportunities are fairly limitless. We have our health, eyes, ears, mouths etc that all function properly and yet we still complain?
We lose our $300 cell phones and perhaps crash our $15-20k cars and feel like the world hates us but often we don’t reflect on wow we have $300 cell phones and $20k cars when others in the world don’t have clean water to drink and don’t know if they will wake up in the morning due to disease. There are people out there whose parents have been killed by AIDS, who they themselves have to walk miles and miles at a time to get a few drops of clean water and yet we are complaining? What gives us the audacity to complain when we live in lavish houses and get virtually anything we want. We want new phones we get them, new toys, its done and of course all the latest fashion. Do we ever reflect on the sweat shop in which our clothes are made of even think about the person working upto 16 to 18 hours in deplorable conditions for the name brand clothes that we wear?
We need to sit and think at times of all that we have, clean clothes, new cars, food on a table, beds, TVs etc we live perhaps the more lavishly than anyone else in the world and perhaps of all time. We need to think about what we have, from who it comes and realize that at the end of life, we all die alone and can’t bring anything with us so we might as well help others while we still have the time.
That’s it for now, more soon
